That ten of the 23-strong squad in Israel are eligible for the 2015 campaign does not exactly inspire confidence
There is only pride – whatever value that has nowadays – to play for

Not really a fan of yours if I am honest (nothing personal) however this is excellent, I am involved in football coaching and am a 30 year old level 2 coach, I would love to go further and develop myself as a coach however have been hindered by needing to work for a pro club to get on the UEFA B course. Yet I don't really have the desire to do that if I am honest, not through any lack of ambition but because I want to work in the grass roots setting as I care about it. People moan about the amount of level 3 coaches in this country compared to those you mentioned, and that we don't produce enough good homegrown players. Yet we make it impossible for Level 3 coaches to work at the grassroots level. Setting an imaginary barrier that you need to be working with a certain calibre of player to develop yourself as a coach. As someone who also works in a school, you would never try to improve the ability of your best students, by giving the weaker students either less of your time, or a "worse" teacher. My final comment is that I know at least one thing Brooking does, he writes the introductions for the FA's overly expensive coaching Journals.
